The booklet documents the development process of a series of vases dealing with the theme of body shame. It summarises the steps of research, form-finding and realisation, and explains thoughts and motivation. With the help of the vases I explore to what extent I can visualise the objectisation of bodies with ceramics and whether the created objects can help to overcome shame. It is a very personal work that incorporates much of what I have read, seen and experienced in recent years. But also the experience of how liberating it can be to overcome shame and address things that are taboo.
